The House

La Granja is a beautifully restored ancient Canarian farmhouse built around the 1700’s. The three bedrooms are at one end of the long-house and the sitting room, dining-room and kitchen are at the other end.

In the sitting-room is a mahogany roll-top desk, luxurious leather seating and a volcanic stone fireplace with a “gas” log fire for chilly evenings. The large book-case has dozens of books on many subjects as well as boxes of games, DVD’s, videos and a large screen T.V.

The dining-room has a table which seats up to 10 people. There is also a little games table set up for chess. To make the dining experience even nicer there is a music system (with iPod dock) and a variety of lighting options to catch your mood.

Paul, the proprietor, can provide lunch, dinner or picnic lunches to order if booked in advance. He loves doing BBQ’s, from a meal for two people or a whole hog-roast. His cottage adjoins the house and has a fully equipped kitchen which can provide you with many options.

The kitchen in La Granja is modern and stream-lined, with ample cutlery, china and cooking equipment to make any cook happy – if that is what you like to do on holiday. The raw ingredients on the Island are superb.
